XP CPU Temps

Anybody help,
trying to find info on operating temps for XP Cpu's
Got a new system and fitted a zalman silen cooler, Have one of the new nforce2 boards with built in temp stuff,
Anyway after a couple of hours my cpu temp is around 60' , the nforce 2 board says this is too hot but the system is solid as a rock,
Trying to find out if this is too hot or just the zalman is not as good as i thought it was.
