Cool

I need some advice on what to go for.

I need a router for a cable internet connection with Optus in order to network two or three (possibly 4 ) PC's together.

I need to know what the hell to look for! A search on Google provided me with a fantastic opportunity to sit and scratch my head with a blank look on my face saying "wibble" every now and then.....

Any help will be very much appreciated for this uneducated in IT muppet.

<eek runs away> You evil lot.

Aaaah, I forgot to say that I am based in Australia, so links to .com.au sites would be great.....as mentioned above a female technical data translator for muppets would be a fantastic thing for me to have access to.

Cool

I am keeping with my insomniatic (unsure if this is a real word, but I'll make sure it goes in the dictionary if it isn't ) ways.....the difference is that I am now posting at normal hours as opposed to abnormal UK times.

Can anyone help me out with the jargon of routers? What model do you reckon I should go for? Specs I should be keeping an eye out for?

Doh.

Website still has the product details. I would imagine most cable firewalls would be globally applicable (assuming your cable con presents ethernet)
