can I use a scanner that is connected to another machine via a parralell port through a network?
the scanner is a HP 3200c.

Best way IMO is to use a remote client, VNC is free and works well to connect to the PC with the scanner attached.
Don't forget you'll have to walk over to the scanner anyway to put the document in![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
