lol downloaded as im fed up with 10 popups an hour, done two whole syestem scans it detected stuff and deleted it, fine for a day now im flooded with them again!!!

what other software you running? kazaa etc.
ad-aware keeps it all at bay for me, although there is another prog thats supposed to be good - spybot
Give that a go!

If most of your popups are coming from spyware/adware you really should consider not using the software that is causing them !
Adaware will *attempt* to remove the spyware, but I would say that the majority, certainly in this case, are browser spawned ads.

Get Pop Up Stopper - free for personal use. As mentioned before, Ad-aware is not meant to stop popups. It is very good at removing spyware and cookies (which it is designed to do). Also use Spybot. When you've done this, install Spyware Blaster which is also free and will sit the background, blocking spyware. All these programs need to updated and run regularily.
Another effective way to block ads and pop ups is to install Power IE - this sits in Internet Explorer and can be configured to block ads and popups - free for 30 days. then it will cost you about $10.
