If its popups spawned from web pages then I'd recommend using Popup Ad Filter from here ---> http://www.meaya.com/

Adaware removes spyware and the like, it's not a pop up remover.

most popups come from spyware (or ad-ware) on the pc and there for this removes it! popup stopers dont get to the root of the problem!

If most of your popups are coming from spyware/adware you really should consider not using the software that is causing them !

Adaware will *attempt* to remove the spyware, but I would say that the majority, certainly in this case, are browser spawned ads.

Get Pop Up Stopper - free for personal use. As mentioned before, Ad-aware is not meant to stop popups. It is very good at removing spyware and cookies (which it is designed to do). Also use Spybot. When you've done this, install Spyware Blaster which is also free and will sit the background, blocking spyware. All these programs need to updated and run regularily.

Another effective way to block ads and pop ups is to install Power IE - this sits in Internet Explorer and can be configured to block ads and popups - free for 30 days. then it will cost you about $10.

Installed Power IE 8 days ago. So far it has blocked 2800+ adverts and 32 pop ups
