Eh up,
I'm taking the plunge and going for ADSL.
Can anyone recommend a supplier?
Also, I'm after an integrated router/firewall/modem/ possibly with wireless access. Any recommendations?
Cheers,
Nick.

Eclipse gets my vote - just placed another customer with them yesterday.
Can recommened the Alcatel SpeedTouch 510 v4 for the router side, although we normally pair it up with a SonicWall firewall for extra security. It does have NAT and a basic firewall built in. The 570 adds WLAN IIRC.

Thanks for that Chris, looks fair enough, and from work their page *really* zipped along, which is always a good sign.
Anyone selling a router, firewall or anything like that?![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

Another vote for Nildram. Been with them on ADSL for getting on two years - about to go to 1Mb xDSL in a couple of weeks - and have had one service outage during that time that was BT's fault anyway (and BT even scored a good mark in fixing it).
Just edited to add that Nildram also include a backup dial-up 0845 account in their prices, just incase you have a problem with the ADSL - don't know if others do.

go Pipex, then I can recommend you and get a free month!
I've got the Vigor 2600We ADSL router/wifi thingie if you want to take a peak!
http://www.adslguide.org.uk/ is the place to go for info including peoples ratings of various ADSL providers.

Greg

I'm another Pipex customer, and have no complaints.
They have had problems, mainly due to their suddenly huge customer base, but they've always been sorted out quickly.
Plus it's cheap as chips!
