I am signing up to eclipse 5oo lite - I will probly get a witeless router in terms of hardware, whuch one of the do I need ?

• Single Fixed IP
Suitable for gaming, videoconferencing, etc. [Select]

• Multiple Fixed IP

Not a real networking guru, but i would go with the single fixed,if your buying a router.
Future personal system expansion may be easier.
ie your own, mail server, Website, ftp site.
connecting to a server/pc from remote sites.

For general use choose the first one - this is the most common.

If you intend using your PC as a server, choose the second.

Yeah, eclipse is a little bit misleading in the line about gaming via the fixed ip address. What it really means is fixed if you want to run as a game server, not just general games playing.

You won't be disappointed btw, its great, I signed up a week last thursday with eclipse, got this coming wednesday as my activation date, but it was up and running last friday (5 days early). Spent the weekend surfing with great ease and very quick downloading of web pages. Members gallery takes no time at all with some of the huge photos people post.
