Question

Anyone know where I can d/l and patches for Toca Race Driver?

Done a web search and found bugger all, apart from the latest patch which doesn't fix my prob.

Can do 3 races, then.....all the cars fly up in the air and start spinning they then fall to the earth with bits flying everywhere, you can usually get going but then at about 120 down the straight it happens all over again was enjoying playing this till this happened!

I think there's only one official patch - the game in general is very poorly programmed

I had two weeks of constant communication with Codemasters, trying to sort out problems....

Potentially good game, shame about the reality.....

In answer to your question () sorry, try givign the Codemasters tech support a shout...

Best of luck

Dan

errrmmm I dont know but it sounds like a anti piracy fade system which codemasters have used. If u running a copy then Im pretty sure this be the issue. If not and its origanl call codemaster/check graphice driver / update them / check directx/reinstall direct x

I had this too, and I am convinced it was a hardware issue. Codemasters even sent me a new set of discs. Update the firmware on your CD/DVD, and if this doesn't work use the no-cd exe since it will not keep referring to the CD.

Wasn't it the graphics card, changing the DVD for CD had no long lasting effect, as for the sound it is generally pretty poor in both Race Driver and CMR3...very cackle like.
