Question

My current graphics card is definately a bottle neck at times... scored 411 on 3D Mark 2001 32 MB SIS305

I was looking at things like 64/128 MB GeForce MX440 or FX5200...

Don't really know how they compare

Current setup Duron 1200, 256 MB SDRAM, 4x AGP port, WinME

- NOT big games player but some of kids stuff does get limited by card (BBC Teletubbies for instance )

Any advice appreciated

Cheers

Mick

You have probably missed your chance. It looks like they were selling those off.

I've got a Radeon 7500 on my system and at the mo, before the likes of Doom 3 etc appear, it's perfectly adequate. I can run Battlefield 1942 at 1024x768 with no glitches or slow down.

The only difference I know of between the 9100 and 9200 is that the 9200 is 8 x AGP where the 9100 is 4 x AGP.
