Cool

I shot some video of my sisters wedding at the weekend but turned my digital camera 90 degrees to get better footage etc the only problem is now when I watch the .avi files that were created they are sideways, is there any way I can rotate them 90 degrees so they are the right way up. I have downloaded Adobe Premier 6.0 but it says .avi is an invalid file format. Can anyone recommend any other software that might do the trick or should I just turn my monitor on its side

Cheers
