If I'm going for a Motherboard that runs a Nvidia Chipset, Is it a better bet to use a graphics card that also runs this type of chip ?
Sounds more harmonious to me to get one that matches rather than an ATI card as in the Group buy,
ROCK<<<< ANDY >>>> HARD PLACE

You will be perfectly happy with one of the Radeons. The drivers nowadays are excellent and there are very few compatability issues ever come across now. It will work perfectly with an Nforce 2 board and if any of you do come across any probs, I know the answers/fixes for pretty well all of them methinks.
Also, you won't have any issues with any games based upon the upcoming Half Life 2 game engine that can't be worked around, unlike the Nvidia users out there
Cheers,
Nick

Just to stick my 2p in, I ran a 9700pro on my old nForce2 board and it ran more than happily. The nForce 2 also has a better than average AGP 8x implementation so the 9700 worked out the box where the via Kt400 boards had loads of problems....

that's the big question Si !
On one hand,
yes it's a good price.
Yes it's the card I want. (after much deliberation I might add)
Downside
Looks like the group buy is nearing completion and I can't commit to being able to afford it for a couple of days. (well until Egg send me out a new credit card anyway, Long story )
I have rang them, and they have put the wheels in motion, but the new card (they say) will take 7-10 days to arrive
