Buy Office XP Pro in US for $130.00 !

I did a quick search and it appears that you can purchase Office XP Pro in the USA for as little as $130. Now why the hell would I want to pay £273 for it in the UK if I can get a full fat version for a fraction of the price "State-Side" ??
It should operate on my UK spec Laptop, shouldn't it ?
Anyone got any thoughts on what Microsoft might do to me if I buy the s/w and install it on my Laptop whilst in the Good 'ole US of A on hols ???

Heh,
Not that I would ever try a /Cough "Review Copy" /Cough Oh no sir !!
But from what I hear from a "friend" the Key that was doing the rounds has been used so much that it has worn out
