all you have to do is have all your software by you. restart your pc and format your main drive then put your operating system back on and all the other software you use id set aside a good 6hrs if you have a lot to put back on your pc

its not a big deal mate..just make backups of everything you want to keep
if your running XP, put your xp disc in your drive , reboot and go into bios.. tell it to boot from cd rom, format to ntfs and follow instructions.
I format about every 2 months and only takes me about 2 hours max, and thats includingthe install of XP and all my software
