Girl at works PC has Windows XP Home installed and was hit by this blaster worm

Fixed that and installed some AV Software for her but she has never updated XP so she has 40Mb of downloads to do SP1 and Sp2

As she only has a 56k modem can you order the updates from Microsoft [link please]

You can find most of them on cover CD's for computer magazines. most of which cost £3-4 each.

If you have a fast connection somewhere you can download the full network install ~100MB https://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/...p1/sp1lang.asp burn it to cd and then run it on as many machines as you need.

I can copy the service Packs from my MS Technet to a CDR and post it to you or give to you if you are going to Castle Combe on Saturday.
I also assume SP2 for Office XP and SP1a for XP OS - let me know.

Yup, a Cover CD for a Comp Mag is a good choice. PC Pro usually include Service Packs every month. If you get stuck Phil, I'll do you a CD and post it.
