Windows updates?

When you do a windows update and it then installs windows hotfixes etc (like the ones for the blaster virus) is there a way you can down load them so you can save the updates somewhere, rather than downloading and waiting for another 34Mb worth of windows updates on the next pc! Thank god for broadband

the windows update applet usually dumps the the setup files into a temporary directory on your hard disc somewhere (usually c:\temp) while it installs. If you're quick and can find them, you can back them up for safe keeping.
