anyone got any suggestions for secure file transfer?
my IT dept have suggested a VPN FTP line with our suppliers, but the method involved will mean renaming files, or zipping lots of files together, - although it doesnt sound like much, this will add time to the process and my dept will also need to keep a backup of whats sent....
anything better out there...?
or any compromise between the two?

we run a vpn between 2 sites.
it connects two vpn/firewall devices together, we can map drives from one office to the other and simply drag and drop. Its 128bit encrypted during transit.
Wont give details of makes or models out on BBS but if your interested drop me a mail
