Question

It looks like this can not be done, but I need to rename multiple files on an FTP server before "mget"ing them.

The "rename" command onyl works for single files. I've looked on the e-net but not found a solution yet.

Any ideas??

If you have asked for a Unix solution. I could have provided you with a shell script for such the job. Looks like you will need to run the 'ren' command in your batch file against each file on the server. Try here: http://www.ericphelps.com/batch/ has quite a few links on MS-DOS batch files.
