I've put in a bigger HD, but am looking to put in an even bigger one - amazing what you find down the back of the couch!!

SO - If I put my EVO X HD into my PC, would Norton Ghost let me image the drive, and chuck it onto, say, a 160Gig () job?

Any thoughts - otherwise, how would I back up my XBox HD?

CHeers,

You would need to unlock the drive first before it would be recongnised in your PC, I use ConfigMagic.

Not tried this myself, but AFAIK it works

On your PC, add the original HDD to the first IDE channel as Master and new HDD to second IDE channel as master.

Use Norton Ghost 2003 boot disk.
Use this command in DOS:

ghost /ir

This will enable ghost to read/write in raw mode.

Clone original HDD to new HDD. Should take 10 mins. Then install to Xbox and lock if required.

Jobs a good 'un

Not quite sure how you would make your F:drive bigger to utilise the extra space though.

Burr - There are a few programs about to do this such as T00GGs HDD Driver. Use at your own risk though.
