And what spec should I be able to get!

Want it for home use and games

We have been to the one in Chester and they have all gone!

Try and get that spec anywhere else for a grand!!! As there is no 9800XL, it must be XT.

The Aldi ones are a steal - I got one the last time round, P4 2.6 for 799 with most of the kit listed above. Trouble is each store has limited numbers - about 15-30 IIRC, and people queue from 8am in the morning to make sure they get them!

How often to Aldi do these deals if I cannot get hold of one this time?

Every 6 months or so mate, usually they wait for me to upgrade or spend some cash on my PC then they'll do another cracking offer! [img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img]

SO has anyone got any first impressions on this latest deal (purchased and had a fiddle so to speak!).

What is the build quality like?

Anybody used the helpline etc (40 lines when selling 1 for customer care!)

thanks for advice - new Aldi machine sat at home. Very pleased, everything works, XP good. Quality of machine good.
