does anyone know of any good or free software that converts mpeg files to burn on dvd-r.

ur gonna need a couple of peices of software to do it. i have a link at home which gives u a step by step guide on how to do these things but im not at home

ok i'l post the link up here, its a site which tells u how to convert several things to other formats, quite good, i managed to convert an avi to a dvd using the guide on there quite easily

i wouldnt bother if i was youi converted a good quality fim to run on a dvd player and the quality it ended up was crap to say the least never seen such a blocky film

just depends on what quality you need for that type of movie

i converted a divx and its realy good quality stil on the dvd..
