KT7-Raid Motherboard and sound cards

Anyone had any success matching a soundcard to a KT7-Raid motherboard? I have heard that the only ones that work are the Sonic Fury based on the Turtle Beach design. There seems to be a problem with the Highpoint Raid controller that causes lots of white noise.
