Hi all,
My bro at Uni has just bought an FS605 10/100Mbps 5 port hub. He wanted to expand the amount of connections in his house you see. It hangs his network when he plugs it into to his Linksys router which provides his broadband. The switch's ports are supposed to be auto-uplink. If another manufacturer's switch is put in place of the netgear it works fine.
Thinking the Netgear switch was duff I've plugged it into someone else network with a different make router and it works fine.
Has anyone experience this problem with this switch?

netgear stuff suxs..... there is a reason it's the cheapest end of the market.
I had an ethernet bridge to plug into my Xbox, it gave up the ghost within 12hours.
The Instructions said not to place it near any source of interferance like, Tv's ,games consoles, VCR's , DVD players Failure to do this would result in total loss of wireless conectivity
My Dlink one is still working in the same position (under TV and near everything it said to avoid)as the netgear one was after 4 months.
