I am after some blocks for use in Autocad 2000, the design center ones packaged with Acad are limited. Does anyone know where I can download some for free? Blocks I neeed are plan views of TV, microwave, keyboard etc plus a person (dead body ) as I'm doing a drawing for a pathology student. I can draw them myself but would rather not waste time.

TIA
Mike

Aaron

Thanks for the help.

Neptunes - Getting into Autocad isn't too difficult, problem I encounter is that people can use Autocad but don't know the relevant drawing standards, they should go hand in hand. You can be churninhg out 2D drawings in no time, 3D is much better but takes a little longer to learn.

Consider Inventor, Ideas etc...

As msp1 says, you need to have some form of engineering background to be able to produce good drawings. There is a drawing standards, you may want to read that as I would say learning industry draing standard is much more important than learning AutoCAD.

AutoCAD and 3D are 2 words which should never be releated.
Ideas is great, but really for the unix environment
Inventor and Solidworks look to be the biggest packages around at the moment, with a small following of Catia users.

If you did get into it and ever wanted any of your drawings checking, drop me a mail and i'll be happy to oblige.
