Well, apart from a new 21" portable (according to Sony) stereo TV for upstairs - to avoid alienating the misses whilst playing Xbox games.. I also got. (BTW sony centre are currently doing the mono Trintron 21" for 199 quid and the stereo version (with two scarts) for 279 quid - cheaper than currys... also they are knocking out the 17" LCD TV for 699 compared to currys' 899!)
XIII - first impressions very good, especially as I bought it for 20 quid from Game with another title.
Counter Strike - not played it yet at home, but a quick go in Game seemed like a good game for 29 quid, specially as I got XIII for 20 as well.
Lord of the Rings Return of the king - simply breath taking effects, and much more involving than the Two Towers, cut scenes are awesome as are the in game graphics, only gripe is it can get a little hectic/confusing mid full on battle!
DVD remote - well, what can I say, it lets you play DVDs... not really that exciting...![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
What did you lot get?

Think I better try and get somewhere on the following games first, as I've only had the Xbox a couple of weeks and so far have:
Halo
PGR2
Need for Speed Underground
Simpson's Hit n Run
Rainbow Six 3
XIII
Counter Strike
LOTR ROTK
Now I have the second TV, this should be easy!

Agreed online is a lot cheaper, but I found delivery times were anything up to 6 weeks! I prefer to pay a little more if I can have an item there and then!![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I've got the 36" sony currently, its a good piece of kit, IMO.
Found the picture and picture not as usable for gaming + TV as I thought it would be, hence the 21" tv purchase.
Enjoy

Actually, nope, its the KV36FS76, I wanted the additional scart sockets and wasn't interested in the digital TV tuner or smart card slot. I got it in Jan this year for circa 1450 quid. (please don't tell me how much cheaper it is now...

Just had a look, and its still roughly what I paid for it in Jan (1695 currently from John Lewis) if you want to buy it from a High Street store... (as I did).

PS. the 21" is the WEGA one (KV21CL10U), good picture quality, played XIII last night some more, wicked game.
However, Counter Strike as a single player game is basic to say the least, don't buy this if you aren't going to use the online features IMO, as it is soo dated compared to the likes of Rainbow Six 3.

I got a dance mat for DDR Ultra Mix . . . too hard though

I can manage the ~100bpm songs on the easiest setting (the light moves) but even the slower songs on the complex moves are impossible! how many legs do they think people have!!!
Fecking good laugh though, watching other people attempt it!

Yeah, you're probably right, need more Vodka & Red Bull ![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Having more trouble understandinding how the game itself works though, not sure what the funny graph thing in the bottom left is all about
Every song I pick seems to be on a hard setting !

Yeah bit difficult without the instructions ![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
I found on the main menu under options, you can set it to a difficulty setting (mine was on "normal" - is ranges from very easy to hard - about 6 levels of difficulty). Then you have the Light/Standard/Hard steps to choose from to.
That little coloured chart seems to represent the different types of steps you need to do in each song and if you press up or down the "voltage" as in difficult steps are added or taken away (less is easier).
I'm wondering if you can add your own songs on there? There seems to be lots of "folder" things?
