This one is puzzling me. There are two login profiles on our PC. When I'm in my profile and Sal wants to use hers, I normally just switch users (as opposed to completely logging off). The problem is that the 'switch user' function has stopped working.
I've been through the Microsoft technical support pages etc and I can't find anything on it. I've followed the instructions to enable the switch user function, but nothing seems to work.
Any ideas on what it could be?
Chris

Chris, have you tried 'system restore'? It's not fantastic, but it's way better than their first attempt in ME
Failing that I'd recommend a re-master; but that's my solution for everything, dealing with endless software ****-ups every day!

No, I'll give that a try. I was trying to avoid a complete wipe of the OS. It's a PITA to sort out and I've got loads of stuff on the PC. It seems such a minor problem as well!

Fast User switching has a few services associated with it.
Make sure they are not disabled or not started. Fast User Switching Compatability and Terminal Services are the 2 that come to mind.

Outstanding H
Terminal services was disabled which meant that FUSC couldn't start.

Thanks for your help.
