Hello all,
I have one of these sitting doing nothing. It has over £3000 worth of software on it, well this is what it was worth at time of purchase.
It has mac os 8.6 with all updates etc, and i'm looking to sell it.
With it is a 17" monitor.
When i was into the mac scene, these were selling for £500 used. Can anone advice me on what it would be worth now?

Probably between 250 - 350 I would have thought.
Compared to even the oldest G4's the G3 is very slow, used to have a couple in the office, and I think we turned one into a web-server, and I *think* it's still going strong.

Is it beige or Blue and White? That will affect the price as the B&W have built-in FireWire and USB as well as official support for Panther.
I'd check eBay to see what similar machines are going for.

Yeh its blue and white.
Didn't know it had support for panther though.
If anyone hears of anyone looking for such a machine, please send them in my direction.
Looking at the posts, looking for £350ono.

I have two of those myself along with my cube and two powerbooks.
The blue and white might fetch a couple of hundred quid. You best bet is to put it on Loot. I Sold an original imac and got a good price and got loads of interest .
If you list all the software and have manuals also you might get a fair bit more.
