As title to replace my Deathstar?
Was going to get a WD Caviar with 8MB cache from Watford Electronics, but for a first order they won't deliver to other than the cardholder's address. When I get home and then find I have to drive for two hours to the courier's depot to collect this is then irritating.
Suggestions?
I only actually need 20-30GB BTW, but drives are cheap.
Motherboard has IDE ATA 100.

I put a Maxtor in mine and the missus' PCs and they have so far been very good, relatively quiet too compared to the IBM drives (my IBM's on the way out too
).
Have you tried DABS? You can get the 80GB DiamondMax9 for 50.50. 40GB is 40.50 and 120GB is 68.00. They are all UDMA133.
