Yeah, I'm one of these people who like sto play older 'retro' games. I've got a few consoles, but I'm looking to buy a Neo Geo AES system...

Has anyone got one for sale? Has anyone here ever owned one? Know any good places to one?

I know these things are expensive, but ebay is driving me nuts (silly prices).

Looking to get a basic set-up (at least one game) and them add to it from there.

Didnt have the cartridge one, had the cd one when that came out....samurai showdown!!!
Telegames, based in Leicester i think are very good for old games and systems, but a bit pricey i think, service is ( or was ) very good.

Mates uncle had one during the ninties he brought it back from Japan.

Knocked Megadrives and the like into a cocked hat. The games were effectively the game motherboards from cabinet arcade machines with a plasitc casing. The cartridge itself being much bigger than say a VHS case.

The control pads were pretty awesome too. 6 big buttons and a stick just like an arcade machine.

Can't remember what games he had but one was a bit like R-Type (if you know what R-Type was).

Try the bay of E, bound to be something there.

If you don't have much luck selling it to the originator of the thread, I may be interested, drop me an email.

I remember these, I bought one back in 1992-3 ish.. bit a sod paying 100 quid for a budget game and 200 quid for a new title..

Also had most of the NEC PC Engine / Turbo Graphics variants too

Used to get the games/systems from a little shop near Bournemouth Uni...

Memories eh....

Will do Evil, it's in pretty good cond, haven't actually used it in about a year. I'd love to keep it cause I'm a massive SNK fan but no job/no money & seems a waste to keep it just for the sake of it.

Hi Jay,

Thanks for the E-mail. Yes, I'd certainly be interested. Drop me an E-mail and we can sort out a price and postage.

Yes, the games are expensive, but it'sone of the few consoles that I've never seen or played... got to be worth it, even to just track down some of the classics like "Metal Slug"...

I take it that everything's there... I can just hook it up and get going?

Hope to hear fromyou soon.

Cheers

Greg
