Angry anybody getting this message??

every 2 minutes my works pc keeps trying to download this
you have chosen to download a file from this location. Button.asp from shop.scoobynet.co.uk
how do i stop it please

This does not appear to be a Scoobynet issue, check all your PC settings and see if anything has been changed.

I think it could be a SNet issue, as occasionally when I ttry to post a reply I get asked if I want to open or save the php file !!

Never had this happen before.. ever

sammyh, im still using the same PC , which had no issues with the old Snet? what would you suggest i check 4?

If it is still doing it......

Remove all temp internet files and give it another go.

its still doing it shaun 4 some reason, i guess i will just have to put up with it, i suppose its the least of your probs right now

thanks Ady, you're a fountain off useless information im only on here the odd hour usually 9 1/4 to be honest, somebodys got to feed u good info , by the way its still appearing, ive even downloadad the dam button, but it still keeps popping up?

I've just had it happen to me. First time I've seen it.

Left my PC on the General Forum index page and went elsewhere in the office. I've just come back and my download manager GetRight has a box up asking where I want to save button.asp.

Hmmm. I'll investigate further

What version of Windows and Internet Explorer are you using?

chris, its a works pc, running NT4 & IE5, there are plenty of other S/netters here who are not having this problem

Have you tried runnind adaware6? (free off web) that may isolate if there is a background exe file triggering the download pop up?

unfortunately scoobyL, this is a networked PC, so unable to run anything useful, is still does it but not as often
