Default Booting from USB CD - CPQ EVO N400

If I buy an external USB CD drive will I be able to boot from it? I've lost the original N400 MEU and need to rebuild the laptop but can't decide on the best way to reinstall the O/S.

Found an option in BIOS to enable boot from USB and it works.
