Bit Torrent, Direct Connect, Emule and Kazaa Diet.

They all have relative merits.

Bit Torrent is my fave because of the reliable and high download speeds, selection of 'material' and less viruses and misnamed crap than other true P2P sharing utilities.

i use kazaa lite and find it excellent
bit unusual why it isn't downloading but why not try winfx or something. I used to have imesh but after using Kazaa Lite I wouldn' go back

Emule for files and Soulseek for music.

Imesh is full of spyware, as is Bearshare. Kazaa Lite seems to have a lot of stuff thats not actually what it says it is, so peoples rating improve by sharing stuff.

Kazaa lite was shut down by kazaa so thats why you can't down load it any more. I will try a few of the others.

Its books I want (to put on the ipaq) and the occansional song so before I found kazza lite pretty good.

cheers

overnet (much better than kazza or e-mule). Can always get full bandwidth on popular downloads 2m/Bits a sec.
