Sorry re phrase
The Internet fraud thing is a red herring as far as your conerned. Your customer needs to make funds available to allow the represenation of your cheque otherwise Issue small claims action.
Hope its no one on here?

Phil I'm sure the integrity of all business men/women of Scoobynet would prevent them of this sort of conduct.
If it was I'd be most disappointed & I'm sure customers would give them a wide berth.......

I disagree
If you are owed money its quite simple.
They need to pay you
I certainly would not think anything less of your business if you sued someone. its none of my business.
If they have problems they need to sort them

We'll know on Monday when the cheque is due to be repaid.....I know I'm owed £800 quid & another cheque has been issued to another supplier for the same amount; the funny thing is the original cheque was XX & XX trading as XX & the new cheques issued is XX trading as XX....
I'm concerned in if i have to take legal action on the original cheque I could have pursued 2 people (privately) though now I can only legally pursue 1 person AKA the new cheque.
Fortunately I had a night out with my solicitor friend that owns a solicitors & he advised me i can claim against both parties for at least 7 years..........The above changes are seen as an opt out in the court of law.....Happy Days for Me.....
I can still pursue both parties.....
