Angry Outlook options

Can anyone tell me how I stop outlook downloading all my pop messages and leave them on the server? I know there is the option but I cannot for the life of me, find it

taff, easy matey

click tools>e-mail accounts>view or change existing accounts>next>...

then select the account/s you want to edit by clicking>change...

click >more settings>advanced>check the leave copy under delivery, specify number of days or until deleted....

When you set the email account up in Outlook try specifying an IMAP server not a POP3 server. If your mail server supports this protocol you will be able to just view the headers and download the full email only if you want to read it.

If instead you want to download the POP mail, but leave a copy of the server check the 'Leave copy on server' box on the Advanced options of the email account set up.

Hope this is what you meant.
