WTF Is the Roxio stuff compatible or not, Who the hell is easy cd creator and why when my pc boots up does it tell me that my cd recording drivers have been disabled? I can't find any

Computers, love 'em but once a qtr I get into a bit of a state

The other thing is that When I use a different recording package, sometimes it works and other times I get told that I don't have a Burn driver WTF??? How can i have one one day and not the next eh?

Mikey (Not Ame ) What do I need to do guys, I just want to archive my music and **** lol

You could go to the Roxio site and download the latest update. I had a problem with an earlier version of Easy CD Creator on my new XP Pro system. The following download sorted it out.

This is a known issue with xp.. download the latest sp & fix's from windowsupdate..

think the burning engine uses mapi (ms burning engine) embedded within xp, it dos'nt work pre sp1.. once it's been used it dos'nt restart hence your probs, works again after a reboot...

Nero Express is easy & good for the less techie\geek
