Default Win 2000 Pro profile problems

We have a big problem, hopefully someone can help.

We have 40 Win 2K Pro machines, with 60 users that can use any machine.

We need to set up each user on each machine, so that they have the following things set up for them

Email - MS Exchange server using outlook to access
A number of mapped drives
Non Standard IE 6 settings - but the same for all machines and users
Non Standard Word 2000 settings - but the same for all machines and users
And a load of other software
Desktop icons (have this solved as we can put shortcuts in the all users folder)

Is there an easy way to do this so the above will work for each user on each PC, at the moment we have 1 PC that we have built so it can be ghosted onto the other machines. but we are having to log in as each user and change the settings for each user and do a load of testing to make sure it works for the user and then move onto the next.

Is there anyway we can set up one profile that will apply for all users, or that we could copy for each user.

Thanks

Mark

yeah its called roaming profiles..

I have a lot of experience with scripting and profiles for 4000+ users using one mandatory profile that changes per user.. so let me know if you get stuck!

Wink

Guys, don't forget Group Policy - assuming you're using AD. A lot easier to control centrally.

Map drives through a logon script though....

Use a combination of the 2...policys and profiles..

And dont forget the login scripts..that call scripts..that call scripts..that call even more scripts...

Watch you dont get in a mess though...
