Hi Guys,
I'm going on my hols in a few weeks and need music with me.
I have a p900 which plays mp3s but 128meg memory stick duos are expensive and a pain in the ***.
I have a portable mp3cd player but don't want to take a load of cds with me.
So I'm taking the plunge - I think I need to buy myself a 20gig i-Pod (my i-Tunes folder is 27.5gig but I'll just have to leave a bit at home lol)
Wheres the cheapest place to get these from right now ?
...And...
does anyone recall the company that were selling coloured i-Pods (not i-pod minis - actual re-coloured versions of the regular i-pod)
Thanks in advance
Ian

The cheapest place for a 20gig iPod, brand new in the UK is Richer Sounds at £249.99 (50 quid off)
http://www.richersounds.com/index.ph...l.php&p=302150
You can get one off the Apple refurb site too

As for the coloured versions, the only place I know of is this in the states.

Depends on what you want out of the device.
Check out my post near the bottom of this thread to explain why I'll be getting an iRiver and not an iPod.

A chum of mine was about to buy an iPod, and after reading up on the iRiver, bought one of those instead
. Check out the review on http://www.pcpro.co.uk
Certainly, from reading about them, the iPods offer style over substance.
