Hi,
need a hosting company for a wbsite a fellow Scoobynetter's doing for us - had a look around but there seem's so many to chose from. The domain currently sits with 123-reg.co.uk but not too sure what packages are best ! The website will be business critical and will be constantly updateded and may incorporate advanced features at a later date such as database connectivity etc.
Any help appreciated, if anybody has any oher suggestions please let me know !
Thanks, Jai

what sort of bandwith requirements do you have?
Windows or unix?
Mysql or SQL Server?
Dedicated box or shared?
Do you need security certificate?
How much do you want to spend?

Preferably Windows but I realise UNIX is probably better suited. I'm used to Windows so prefer that !

Ah ok,
For a windows solution I recommend www.1and1.co.uk
My work site is based there www.physicalcompany.co.uk - on the MS Professional package (shared)
For a (cheaper) unix solution, use www.34sp.com - my personal site is based there:
www.lanse.co.uk and costs £45.00 per year
Both sites have been really reliable - with 1and1 being better.
34sp only have e-mail / irc support - but is very fast
1and1 has telephone support.
Hope this helps

Another vote for Titan Internet. Absolutley fantastic service, bloody good pricing, superb support. Can't fault them at all.
