You need to specify which flavour of sql you are using. MS SQL, Oracle, Ingres....
There are repair tools builtin/supplied with most of the sql servers.
Normally you need to mount it in single user type mode and you can do dbcc checks etc...
Haven't done this sort of thing since 4 years ago, but there is plenty of sites on the net which has detailed steps on how to sort it out.
