Default Xbox: DVD

Hello

I just can't burn DVD's for my Xbox. I have an Emprex 8* DVD+-RW and I use HP (and other) DVD-RW and DVD-R. It comes up with Disk-Error every time I put a disk in the X-box.

I can happily burn a CD-RW for use in the X-Box.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Steve.

I use Bulkpaq +R's ... the 4X ones

and then Nero 6 Express to burn the image. It works for me ......

yup

I use Craxtion to make the images....... I'm using v3.0 but I think V4.0 will even burn the image for you.

You need to creat a x-box ISO. PC type don't work. Not tried craxtion but there are a number out there that will do it. Once you've created the ISO image you can use nero to burn it. You won't be able to read the new disk on a PC once it's complete.

Like already been said.. I use Craxtion to create the ISO, then burn the ISO image with Nero 5.5 on 2x. Using Verbatim 2x DVD-R with no problems yet.

Also bare in mind that the Xbox is very fussy to the type of media you use, have you tried some different brands of DVD...!!

Hello

Thank you for your help. Unfortunately having tried several brands of DVD it must be either my DVD Writer or the Xbox. Damn!
