Default whats my best option?

just got my dvd writer today so i installed it taking out my cdrw

i just realised
i have 2 out-of-date pcs lying around

other 2 have DVD roms and a cdrw (older slower ones) each

1 of the pcs are a 2.4 mhz 80 gb dvd/cdrw from medion and the other is just an old pc

shall i
a,

take the parts out and sell them (ie ebay)
so i have 3 cdrws as 1 lot
2 dvd roms as 1 lot

keep the 80gb HDD for my current pc as a 2nd hard drive (need advice how to do that )
and motherboards other HDD floppy etc sell as bits and pieces

or
B, sell the medion pc as a whole (even though i have to format the HDD)
and take the other one apart and sell as bits and pieces

advice please

Buy two hard drive caddies. Just open the cases and put the Hard drive or CDRW in it and close. This then gives you an external USB 2 Hard drive and an external CD Writer to take anywhere or just use with what you have now, even if you upgrade.

I'll give you a few quid for the motherboard, chip, hard drive and a DVD. My Dual PII is feeling the strain and my old 4gig drive is bulging at the seams. Don't really need the DVD as I have an XBOX, but if it helps you make space I'll take it off your hands.
