Has anyone used one of these? Are they any good? Got my Xbox, got hte broadband unning and got Live starter kit, just need a router or similar now to get up and running and came across the Wireless Adapter:

Any suggestions for my best setup without spending loads!

I've got one of these and it works a treat.
Didn't even need to set it up, just connected it and turned it on Well I needed to allow the mac address and stuff on the router, but it was trying to talk straight away. No problems with it at all.
Sorry it's not the one you mention, but it's still good and it works
Are you looking at getting a router as well then? Quite a few to choose from. My netgear one is sound and I know a lot of people on here use the linksys stuff. There's a few options on broadbandbuyer (in the above link). You might even be able to wangle a deal

Good Morning,
I looked at the Microsoft one but they are not for the UK market and you would end up with a 110v adapter from the States that would not work so would end up having to buy another adapter and it refers to the CD-Rom you insert into the X-Box to configure the adapter. Will the CD work on a European X-Box ????
I purchased the unit below and then configured it on my PC. I have a full 802.11G network running and it is faultless on the X-Box.

They are all good and basically do the same job but as I have a G router it made sense to use a G adapter plus it does look sleak on top of the box with its blue neons
If you need a hand configuring it give me a shout.
For info I paid about £55 for it.
