I am looking at ntl broardband as i am still on dialup.. What sort of antivirus software should i run and spyware stuff.. In the past i have left it and have got viruses etc..

AVG might be free, but it's also not very good (I've known several cases where it's let viruses through). I'd invest in either the McAffee or Norton antivirus products personally. They're not expensive and both offer far better protection than AVG....Zonealarm (free version) is quite a good firewall, but I got fed up with the bugs, (although it may have improved since I last tried it). As with the antivirus software, but McAffee and Norton offer good firewalls with their internet security packages....
