Help - C&C Zero Hour has stopped working!

As above - installed new drivers for my video card (via Microsoft updates initially, when C&C wouldn't play I then got them from NVidia's site and re-installed with their installation wizard).
Card is a GeForce2 MX/MX400 (64Mb I think).
The game flags a 'serious error' on the initial screen (hardware insufficient spec or some similar nonsense). Have checked on the EA Games site which helpfully suggests changing the screen refresh rate to 75Mhz - unsurprisingly this does sod all.
Anyone any idea what I should do next? Should I re-install the original video card drivers?
Cheers - at least the other half is happy as she hates 'that game'![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)

LOL
Never Ever use the drivers from windows update.
Uninstall the Nvidia drivers properly - there are utils (nvcleaner? > google)to do this for you.
Reinstall new Nvidia drivers.
Try installing the latest version of DirectX (9.0c ?)
You can pick up ATI 9600 Pro's for next to nothing on ebay at the moment for a budget upgrade.
try un-installing & re-installing the game also.
