Samba Domain Controllers..
Has anybody ever moved away from the normal Windows NT domain to using something like Samba ??
If so any feedback would be most helpfull !

We've not got a domain at work at the moment, but i'm having a half-a$$ed attempt (ie messing about when i've nothing better to do) to set one up using samba.
There's an article about it in computer shopper magazine this month with instructions and a sample samba.conf file to have a go at if that may be any help.

The reason I am asking is that our company is thinking of scrapping our windows 2000 Active directory server and going with Samba....
