I have had my xbox chipped with the executer2 chip, and the other day I went to play Toca RaceDriver from disc and tried to go live for the very 1st time, I didn't realise I had left the executer switched on
Now when I try to go live it gives me 2 options to create a new or recover and existing account. I have tried to create new and it goes to the xbox live needs to update your......
After that I get Xbox live is unavaliable tryu later, it just keeps looping this bit.

Is there an easy way to fix this or does it mean a reformat of the whole hd???

Any help appreciated.

Your x-box has probably beed banned from Live. Re-formatting the HDD won't help. I think the only option left if you still want to play on live is to buy a new X-box.


You may find some info on www.xbox-scene.com to see if there's anything you can do, but I doubt it...

You could always use the eeprom of an xbox that you know doesn't use live on yours.

Just change yours to match, but remember you can only use one of them on live. It will be your serial number that is banned, not your account.

Just get XB Connect or Kai (X-Link). You can still play on-line with System Link games...
