GTA San Andreas

Anyone tell me what the benefit of SA is over VC? I'v got VC and got bored halfway through (all got a bit samey) but still good. Bascially, how much of a step up from VC is it?

And it's suppose to be huuuugggeeeee......
Boasting a world that five times larger than Vice City, San Andreas introduces a host of new features that including eating food to survive, the freedom to completely customize your character with tattoos, clothing, and haircuts, a brand new vehicle physics engine, the long-wanted ability to swim, and overhauled graphical presentation.

For me GTA3 was the best game ever because of the way things just carry on around you. Even when you do nothing but look out the window of a building there's folks going about their business and cars and so on.
Then Vice City came out and everything was much brighter and the soundtrack was absolutely the best! (for folks my age anyway )
I think Rockstar Games have created the best "virtual world" I have seen so far - even if it is a crooked one.
Even if San Andreas was just more of Vice City I'd have to buy it.

I can't wait - have pre-ordered. The snag is a) finding the time to play it and b) stopping the other half whinging about it - she hated Vice City with a passion ("but I need the sound turned up loud so I can hear what's going on" - cue noisy siren on a half hour ambulance mission )

I never managed 100% despite playing it from start to finish at least twice..... and some of my favourite missions over and over.
Completing all the main missions, building related missions, jumps and hidden packages is relatively easy.
Some of the rampages are quite hard and I cant be bothered to rob all the shops.
But its some of the special "Top Fun" missions that I can't do..... the model planes on top of the Northpoint Mall carpark and the little radio controlled cars on the dirt track... Oh the shame of it....
Oh yes and the Ambulance missions and pizza missions are very difficult to reach the levels where you get the reward IMO.
I've been playing it again over the last few days to get my hand brake turns, and bootlegger reverses back up to standard
