Is it possible to get a program which filters incoming email? - what i want it to do is stop emails coming in which have words that i've chosen in the titles
i'm getting so many advertising ones it's bl**dy annoying, the ones i want to block at the moment are ones containing the words - rolex, viagra, pharmacy, and others which are coming everyday
cheers

Another vote for mailwasher, I use it and it's great. You can blacklist people and it will automatically send the mail back to them with a complaint e-mail attached along the lines of "offensive or inappropriate mail, please stop sending mail to me".
It's pretty much stopped the crap I used to get altogether now.

But even with mailwasher you should still check to see if your isp offers a free service to you. You can never have too many spamblockers.
You didn't say but if you have dial up then mailwasher may slow you down.
