Click file|print and see if the print to file box is checked - if it is uncheck it

Maybe the file is read-only, but there is an embedded "last printed" field which triggers when you select "print". ?

Save it unde a newname n see if it still does it when reopened n reprinted.

Sounds like the file hasnt been saved or has moved, been deleted, or are u trying to print an XLS attachment youve launched from email or something else?

For some reason it was sommat to do with the Microsoft Document image writer or sommat.
I have gone into "printers" in the control panel and got rid of it leaving on ly the Hp printer to print with Make any sense?
it works, anyway

You may need the following excuses for your predicament:

"It was like that when I got here"

"The computer did it"

Or, as Homer Simpson would advise, "blame it on the guy who doesn't speak good english".

Hope that helps
