Default Recover email from pst

Someone has deleted a load of emails.

I have tried this program,

http://www.recover-my-email.com/index.html

and it can see them , but i have to buy to actually recover the emails. Does anyone have a free Version of some similar software. Or any suggestions?

Thanks

Andy

You have the .pst file?

If you have Outlook you can add a new data file and point it atthat .pst file.

Have you checked in "Deleted items" folder of the pst??
Unless they have shift deleted,in theory (Theory is a wonderful thing with anything that MS make) the folders should be in there.Worth a look...

As others, just add the outlook.pst to your data folders, then access it

If the deleted items has been emptied, the mail is gone forever

if its passworded your stuck as well, as I still dont think anyone has managed to succesfully crack pst passwords

I think a russian group had a go, but not sure if it was successful or not

Steve
Password protected pst files can be gotten around so to speak.I have a utility at work which strips the password from the pst so you can open it.Have used it many times where people have forgotten passwords etc...

Yeah we use a program called "Passware" - does the job!

Still not managed to find any util to recover the emails though. The pst shows empty in outlook but the file size is 330mb.

As i said , i've managed to use a program to view some of the emails, but i have to buy it to recover them

That's because the folder doesn't dynamically resize when you delete files/folders etc.You need to do a "Compact Now" in MS Outlook to resize it,not that I'd do it in this particular instance though cos of the problem you have...
