Did Play get back to you on that? I've had it preordred for 8 months and am not going to buy it from a shop (I preordered it when it was on Play for £26.99 so no way am I paying an extra £13 to get it from a shop - even if I have to wait an extra couple of days!) but would like to know if they're advance shipping.

The usually ship DVD's that are due to be released on a Monday, on the Friday before. I've had loads of DVD's arrive a couple of days before the shops start selling them.

Well worth the wait, IMHO

The city is fecking massive with loads more detail in the scenery and cars. Language is colourful and very descriptive, not for the kiddies

Only done about a dozen or so missions but you know your onto a good thing when one of the characters in the opening sequence is voiced by Samuel L Jackson

One of the best aspects so far is the Talk Radio presenters

play never do next day - 3 at best

if you wannit on friday, it's either a shop or amazon are usually good at getting stuff delivered on release day (although the fu***rs stitched me on the star wars trilogy & the last LOTR DVD's - both came a day l8 )

If you order with Play it will generally get shipped on the day of release..

Gameplay.com guarantee delivery on day of release. ( or in my past experience the day before release.. )

set my ps2 up today. Had to blow off the dust.

Connected it to my LCD tv. Unfortunately doesnt look very good. Not a nice crisp image when I tried using GTA vice city. Played a dvd though the ps2 and it looked great. not sure why vice city doesnt look any good.

Recaro - The DVD will play at max res of 1280x1040 through the PS2, but only at 320x240 for most games, sometimes 640x480. So the quality in not up to much on a high res screen.

Cheers DJ, Got a VGA adaptor somewhere that changes the res from 320x240 ro 640x480.

I'll give that a go.

That should bring out the best in it Switch the motion blur off too, but you've probably already done that Its not on in San Andreas, it only blurs when you get some real speed up, um, allegedly.
