![Question](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/icons/icon5.gif)
Just getting the bits together to build a Home Theatre PC (or Media Centre in Microsoft language) ![Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif)
So far it goes like this...
CPU:- AMD 64 2800+ Newcastle skt 754 (upgradeable later)![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
M/b:- MSI K8N NEO Platinum Edition
HDD:- Dual Maxtor DiamondMax 9 120Gb SATA drives
Mem:- 2*512MB PC3200 DDR400 DIMM
Case:- http://www.silverstonetek.com/products-lc03v.htm![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Graphics:- Radeon 9600XT 256Mb VIVO
PSU:- Hiper SF-470WTX Dual 23dBA
DVD:- NEC 16x Dual Layer +/- Writer
O/S:- Windows XP Media Centre Edition 2005 inc remote
Has anyone built one of these yet? I'm after a quiet 'component' to fit in with the TV/5.1 Surround Sound system so not too bothered about games performance etc. (but might eventually want to do a bit of Video Editing).
I am thinking of getting a TV Tuner card (probably freeview) to record 2 video channels at once and act as a PVR, any suggestions?
